The Live Cinema Summit at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2018, previously held as the 2016 Live Cinema Conference at King’s College London, will address the field of live cinema: film screenings augmented through live performance or immersive elements, including site-specific locations, technological intervention and digital participation.
The world-leading Live Cinema Summit will take place over two days at Doc/Fest 2018, and will include:

Panel sessions with international exhibitors, funders, archives. filmmakers, artists and academic experts in the field of live cinema
Behind the scenes artist and producer talks reflecting Sheffield Doc/Fest 2018’s live Film and Alternate Realities events

World Premiere of Reeps One: We Speak Music, Live, commissioned by Live Cinema UK as part of the Live Cinema Talent Pool.
DAY 2 (Saturday 9th June)
Focused workshops and informal meet-up opportunities with key international exhibitors, funders and artists
